i will be at small press expo, not at a booth but just wandering around aimlessly in a fruitless effort to feel like im involved in a community in some capacity instead of openly rejecting it at all turns. i am torn between asking you not interact with me at all or saying its okay to approach me with your hand outstretched so i can sniff it and determine if you are a threat or not. i am extremely nervous about this event. i'm treating it the same way i treated taking brain pills back when they used to make me insta-vomit in college: i don't like it, but its good for, me so i have to.
