to all my readers in texas who might stumble upon this now or when they are finally safe: what is happening to you is heartbreaking and objectively wrong. i am so tired of the world being perpetually awful to the people who keep it running. typically this is where i link to donation drives, but the word on the street is that the mutual aid groups are struggling to distribute the vast amounts of donations they've received due to the restrictions on the apps used to receive the funds
